Team Time Out Recap

Sunday’s Team Time Out was a blast! Along with tug-of-war, three-legged races, dodge ball, and relays, there were delicious burgers, yummy corn, and all kinds of sides and desserts. Thank you to everyone who came and contributed to the fun and food!

Besides the great eats, I particularly loved watching the egg-on-a-spoon relay. An interesting phenomenon began occurring several rounds into the race – one team figured out that if someone walked alongside and coached the person balancing the egg, they would make it back faster and without dropping the egg. It was like that extra bit of encouragement and support helped carry the egg and the racer back to the finish line. It worked so well the other team started doing it too!

Is someone in your life barely balancing, hanging on and trying just to make it through each day? Maybe it’s a kid in HD or a family you know at Radiant. Let’s come alongside them and encourage their spirits!

• It's an Impact Weekend again! Be sure to wear your Impact shirt! If you haven’t already purchased your IMPACT t-shirt now is the time! We have them available in the Preschool Headquarters office every weekend for $13.00.
• An exciting change is happening! Instead of a March 6th HD LIVE!, HD will be putting on a super, fantastic, MEGA HD LIVE! for all to experience during weekend services March 21/22! That weekend will be Children’s Emphasis Weekend and we'll need your help manning kiosks, helping pass out tickets and more. Most of all, we'll need your prayers. Look for our first Friday night HD LIVE to take place after Easter.
