This weekend in elementary we are wrapping up our awesome P is for Prayer Series. During our P is for Prayer Courtyard Event this Saturday and Sunday, kids and adults will get the opportunity to go on a Prayer Walk and Pray in Color. These are just two ways to expand the way we talk to God. As we move forward into summer and prepare for our Kidfest summer event, I want to challenge you to continue being prayer warriors for HD. Whether you Pray in Color, keep a prayer journal, add requests to a prayer box, or have a prayer calendar, please pray that our ministry would reach kids for Christ and help them grow in Him!

Announcements

• You can earn 5 washers for your favorite team this weekend! Any volunteer that can correctly say our P is for Prayer memory verse (Ephesians 6:18) to a staff member this Saturday or Sunday will receive 5 washers to give to the team of their choice. You could be the deciding factor in a team winning the special prize!
• This is the final weekend for Project Band-Aid. Please wear your Band-Aids and don't forget to bring in a few boxes of Character Band-Aids to help out the Phoenix Crisis Nursery.
• We are gearing up for our HD Kidfest Kaleidoscope Summer Event and will need your help to make it a success. Look out for volunteer sign-ups to take place in the next few weeks.
• With summer upon us and lots of events on the horizon, we have decided that there will be no HD FIT or Team Time Out in May. Please plan for a Kidfest volunteer meeting in June!
• Come out to our P is for Prayer Series Courtyard Event this weekend and join our kids as they Pray in Color and go on a Prayer Walk! Stop by the stations outside to experience these fun ways to pray!
• Only two weekends left to get in on our May 29 Family Fun Day with the AZ Diamondbacks! We'll be watching the Dbacks play the Braves at 6:40pm at Chase Field. Buy your tickets for only $10 each at the Family Fun Day kiosk on Saturday or Sunday.
