Beautiful Feet

"But how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say,
'How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!'"
Romans 10:14-15

This week our little ones in Kids Boost will learn about what it means to be a missionary. I grew up as an MK, a missionary kid, and watched my parents take the gospel to people in Asia, Europe, and Africa. While I never felt called to join my mom and dad on the mission field, I learned that being a messenger of God’s word didn’t have to mean traveling to far-off countries to share the Gospel.

Wherever you are can be your mission field! For me, sometimes being a missionary meant leading prayer at my sorority house on September 11, 2001 or talking with the woman next to me on an airplane and telling her how she could have a personal relationship with Jesus. Maybe for you it’s being a shoulder someone can cry on or providing a meal for a family in need. You can be an emissary for Jesus in your daily life!

Here are some ways you too can have beautiful feet:
  • Take a walk around your neighborhood and pray for the families that live on your street.
  • Invite a friend to join you at church this weekend.
  • Let your life witness Christ’s love and compassion, when someone asks about your faith, boldly share how Jesus changed your life!
Hope to see your beautiful feet this weekend!
